Co-Founder & CEO
Prior to Zelandez, Gene spent 10 years in Upstream Oil & Gas with Schlumberger. First as a wireline field engineer on remote deepwater rigs and later in operations management roles. He has worked extensively across Europe, Africa and Latin America. Gene’s deep knowledge in oilfield technology combined with his passion for the Lithium industry is what led him to found Zelandez. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
Co-founder / Director
With 10+ years of business experience, Clint focuses on our partnerships, capital raising, and assisting with our team recruitment and company strategy. Prior to Zelandez, Clint was the founder of SaferMe, a software as a service company, and previously helped build and successfully exit a financial services company. Clint has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
CTO
Stuart has a Ph.D and 20+ years experience in reservoir engineering. Stuart is an ex-Chevron Lead Engineer, now the Zelandez technology leader with experience across dozens of reinjection projects, and belowground sensor research and development. Stuart oversees both the Reservoir and Reinjection verticals of the business, working with our internal technology team and our technology production partners.
CFO
Prior to Zelandez, Nicolau spent 15 years as CFO of two portfolio companies in the Infrastructure industry in Brazil, and with the Siemens Medical Instruments and Automotive units in the United States. He brings extensive experience in building world-class Finance capability, capital raising, and helping businesses achieve profitable growth. He earned an MBA at IMD in Lausanne Switzerland and is a CPA.
Director of Process Performance
Azul serves as Director of Process Performance at Zelandez, spearheading the development of new service lines and providing innovative technological solutions for lithium processing, production of its derivatives, water consumption and recovery. Azul holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the National University of Salta and a Master’s in Water Treatment from Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain, with speciality in Water Management from the European University of the Atlantic.
Director of Geosciences
Fernando has a Geology degree from the National University of La Plata in Argentina. After years of participation in Sedimentology research projects, he started his professional career in a Core Laboratory performing petrographic and diagenetic studies. Then Fernando joined Schlumberger where he spent almost 10 years as a Geoscientist performing well data processing, and interpretation, and he became an expert in borehole image analysis. His passion for well logging data lead him to invent new ways to use logging data in the Lithium Industry.
U.S Country Manager
Kerry has nearly 20 years of experience in technology and exploration and is responsible for new customer engagement, business growth, and customer relationship management across the U.S and Canada.
Marketing Director
Andrea leads and oversees Zelandez's marketing efforts via the mining conference circuit, across Asia, North & South America.
Principle Hydrogeologist & QP Leader
Murray brings over 25 years of experience to Zelandez, from exploration to resource definition (QP), project feasibility and consulting.
Principal Economist
Richard leads Zelandez’s strategic decision making and the analysis of company projects. Richard is qualified in Economics and Operations Research.

Heidi is an Industrial Engineer with a Master's Degree in Project Management. She contributes in the search for new business opportunities in Chile and Bolivia.
